Housed in a stripped‑down body without viewfinder, grip or battery compartment, it weighs just 243 g and measures 100 × 74 × 42.5 mm, making it ideal for applications where size, weight and flexibility are paramount. Lens mount, power and control ports are all designed for easy mounting and remote operation via the Sony Camera Remote Toolkit (lens sold separately).
