This sensor hub allows to connect two PixHawk Mauch current sensors in parallel in order to add their current capacities.
The current of both sensors is summarized before reaching the flight controller while the voltage measurement of the LiPo packs are collected from both sensors and passed through the hub to the flight controller.
The main purpose of this hub is to replace existing protection circuits and to monitor that both paralleled LiPos are supplying the same current to the system.
Thanks to Mauch Sensor Hub X2, you can spot early when a LiPo starts to fail, way before this situation is irreversible.
In case of difference in current is of +/- 15%, the alarm output goes ON in order to indicate the fault. The pilote should then land immediately in order to check the batteries.
