Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 T211 Tablet

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is the latest offering by Samsung for the Tablet segment of the smartphone market. The device comes with updated specifications and hardware which translates into faster performance while delivering a stable base of operations.

Device Specifics

The Single SIM GSM device is powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor which is more than capable of meeting its processing needs. The Dual Core set up allows for better device power management for the device as well. The system incorporates the latest in Android OS technology. The version present in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is the 4.1 Jellybean Version. It uses Samsung’s own TouchWiz User Interface. The interface has been designed to associate fluid movements and low memory load on the device. It has a RAM capacity of 1 GB which is more than sufficient for enabling Multitasking capabilities on the device.

Memory and Multemedia

In terms of memory, the Galaxy Tab 3 by Samsung comes with 8 GB of Internal memory which can also be extended to another 32 GB via a MicroSD card. This memory expansion is particularly useful when you take HD Videos with the 3 MP primary camera at 30 fps. The Tab also comes with a 1.3 MP secondary camera which can be used for video calls. The screen used in the device is 7 inches in area and has a TFT Capacitive Touch setup. It has a resolution of 1024 x 600 p with support for 16 M colors. It is also multi touch enabled.

Connectivity and Power

It is capable of WiFi connectivity as well as USB 2.0 connectivity. The device comes with Bluetooth connectivity as well. The battery used in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is a massive 4000 mAh Li-Ion cell.

Pros:
Super clarity
3mp primary camera is good
1.3 mp camera for video chats works decent
display clarity is excellent
touch sensitivity
and all features work better

cons:
Slight heating observed
Internal memory is 8GB – you can use only maximum 5 or 4GB
Microsim – your SIM needs to be cut into small size
Price could have been a bit lower i.e. around rs. 13k to 15k.
Not big improvement over Tab2, except addition of 0.2 GHZ in processor and 1 MP addition in front camera for video calls
